TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan opened the Jakarta Innovation Days at City Hall, Tuesday, September 27, 2022. He hoped that the event which exhibits the city’s policy innovations could educate citizens about breakthroughs carried out by the provincial government.
“We hope that through the Jakarta Innovation Days, we can explain what has been done [by the city administration] regarding policy innovation and its execution,” Anies told reporters at the City Hall today.
He also pinned hope that the two-day event will be a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences from and by various parties so that the capital can obtain input in order to build a more decent city.
“Various parties visiting the event can share their breakthrough innovations that may be useful for us in Jakarta,” Anies added.
What has been done in Jakarta, he remarked, is the result of the exchange of ideas, a creative process that leads to innovation. This is beneficial not only to the government but also anyone. “We see this as a continuous learning process,” said Anies Baswedan.
Taking place on September 27-28, 2022, at the City Hall, Jakarta Innovation Days presents the works and ideas of innovators from across elements, such as the private sector, academia, and communities.
