KPK Arrests Supreme Court Justice Sudrajad Dimyati

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially arrested Justice Sudrajad Dimyati on Friday, September 23, 2022. Dimyati was arrested as a suspect in the alleged case of bribery at the Supreme Court.
"The investigation team made an arrest against one suspect," said deputy chief of the KPK Alexander Marwata on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Alex said that Dimyati will be detained at the Kavling C1 Detention House for the first 20 days starting from September 23 to October 12, 2022.
Dimyati arrived at the KPK building at 10:20 AM Western Indonesia Time and immediately rushed into the examination room without providing any comments.
The KPK named Dimyati as a suspect for bribery in the bankruptcy cassation of Intidana Saving and Loan Cooperatives. The case was uncovered through a sting operation staged on Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, September 22, 2022.
In relation to the case, the KPK has named 10 people as suspects. Out of the 10 suspects, seven have been detained, including Dimyati. Meanwhile, the remaining three, Redi, Ivan, and Heryanto, are yet to be detained because KPK hoped that they can be cooperative when summoned.
The following are the 10 suspects named by the KPK:
-SD (Sudrajad Dimyati), Justice of the Supreme Court.
-ETP (Elly Tri Pangestu) Substitute Registrar of the Supreme Court.
-DY (Desy Yustria), an official of the Supreme Court Registrar.
-MH (Muhajir Habibie), an official of the Supreme Court Registrar.
-RD (Redi), an official of the Supreme Court.
-AB (Albasri), an official of the Supreme Court.
-YP (Yosep Parera), a lawyer.
-ES (Eko Suparno), a lawyer.
-HT (Heryanto Tanaka), a debtor of the Intidana Saving and Loan Cooperatives.
-IDKS (Ivan Dwi Kusuma Sujanto), a debtor of the Intidana Saving and Loan Cooperatives.
