TEMPO.CO, JakartaPutri Candrawathi, the wife of Ferdy Sambo, is named a suspect in the murder case of Brigadier J or Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Insp. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo has announced. Putri is subject to Article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code.

The special team established by National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo will examine the wife of the former chief of the National Police’s Internal Affairs Division today, August 19, 2022. The team will also present a number of new findings in this murder case.

“[The examination of Putri] has been scheduled,” said Dedi on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Dedi also stated that the special team headed by the Deputy Chief of the National Police, Comr. Gen. Gatot Eddy Pramono, would immediately publish the examination results to the public.

Previously reported, the team launched a search at Ferdy Sambo's residence at the Cempaka Residence Housing, Mertoyudan, Magelang earlier this week to uncover what was suspected to be the background of the fatal shooting of Brigadier J.

Gen Ferdy Sambo. The police also stated that 35 police officers are suspected of violating the code of ethics in this case.
