TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Kamaruddin Simanjuntak, the family lawyer of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat a.k.a. Brigadier J, said that he wants the deceased's good name and reputation restored. His statement came following an announcement that Inspector Gen. "To restore the reputation, honor and good name of the late Police Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat," Kamaruddin said in a written statement, Wednesday, August 10.

Yesterday, the Indonesian chief of police, Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, announced that Ferdy Sambo has been named a suspect for the murder of his aid, Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarata a.k.a. Brigadier J. The latest investigation found that there was no gunfight between Bharada E aka Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu and Brigadier J.
"[Ferdy Sambo] had ordered and created the scenario of the incident to make it seem as if a shootout broke at his house at the Duren Tiga Police Residential Complex," he said in a press conference at the National Police Headquarters yesterday
In previous reports, the police announced that the non-commissioned officer was suspected of harassing Putri Candrawathi, Ferdy Sambo's wife. So far, the allegations have not been proven.
The police have named four people as suspects in Brigadier J's murder. In addition to Sambo, there are also Richard Eliezer (Bharada E), Ricky Rizal (Brigadier RR), and KM, who is the personal driver of Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawathi.
