TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT JakLingko Indonesia, a subsidiary of Jakarta-owned company, is preparing to include online ojek in the integrated tariff and payment system of three city transportation modes that will take effect in mid-August.
The President Director of PT JakLingko Indonesia, Muhamad Kamaluddin, said the implementation of the intermodal integration tariff will be followed by the launching of the JakLingko application and card.
The mobile app and the card, he explained, will make it easier for residents to plan trips using public transportation, including online motorcycle taxis.
“We will use a code for online motorcycle taxis. We’re trying to help all so all residents can enjoy and feel the benefits [of the integrated system],” said Kamaluddin as quoted from Antara, Friday, August 5, 2022.
He explained that ordering online ojek as a supporting transportation or feeder service to a bus stop or final destination can later be done via the JakLingko app.
The integrated tariff of Rp10,000, he went on, will be implemented in mid-August, pending the legal umbrella from the Jakarta Provincial Government through a governor's decree (Kepgub).
Kamaluddin explained that the integrated tariff for TransJakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta will be valid for a maximum of three hours. However, using one transport mode will be charged with the normal price of transport mode.
