Rain Expected Over Jakarta in Latest BMKG Weather Forecast

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The capital city of Jakarta is expected to be showered by light rain from noon to evening on Friday, June 24, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) weather forecast. 

Light rain will likely shower over the West, South, and East Jakarta areas at noon while North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu) will likely remain dry throughout the day.

BMKG also issued an early weather warning for possible storms and strong winds in parts of South, West, and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening. Other areas are expected to experience lighter-intensity rain during the night. 

The average temperature in the capital city is hovering between 24 degrees and 32 degrees celsius with air humidity will be between 65-90 percent.
