TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bern cantonal police found a dead body strongly suspected to be the son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or known as Eril. Eril was found floating in the overflow basin of the Engehalde weir in Bern, Switzerland on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

The body was found on Wednesday morning, June 8, 2022, before 6:50 AM, local time. "The maritime police of the Bern cantonal police managed to find the body in the weir basin and rescued him. It can only be confirmed that the man is dead," the police wrote.
The forensic examination proved that the dead body was Eril who had been missing in Aare River since Thursday, May 26, 2022, after going swimming.
Earlier reported, Ridwan Kamil flew to Switzerland earlier this morning and will be taking 11 days off until Sunday next week, from June 9 to 19, 2022.
