MRT Project for HI-Roundabout-Harmoni Lane at 38% Progress

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The president director of PT MRT Jakarta, William P. Subandar, said that the second phase of the MRT Jakarta project—or CP 201, which is the Bundaran HI-Harmoni lane, has only reached progress of 38.1 percent. The project is targeted for completion in March 2025.
"The progress of CP 201 as of today is 38.1 percent. Our target is to complete it by March 2025. Segment one, which is until Harmoni, will operate," William said when visiting the project site at the HI Roundabout Station Area, Tuesday, May 24.
At the 20-meter underground site, William showed the tunnel boring machine at work. "The machines are drilling. One coming from the south and another from north of Monas," he said.
The drilling work, William said, is targeted for completion in July 2023. After that, the railway equipment will be brought in along with the entire system and other parts. "Currently, the underground drilling length has reached about 112 meters."
This MRT network project employs around 5,000 employees. For the 24-hour drilling work, there are around 10 people working in shifts.
