President Jokowi Attends 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Bali

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo, or Jokowi, and first lady Iriana Joko Widodo on Wednesday morning departed for Bali to attend the 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) 2022. The President’s entourage flew to Bali aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.
According to the official press statement, the President will head to Denpasar City’s Kreneg market to distribute a number of social assistance for local residents as he lands at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport.
Jokowi will then head to the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) to attend the opening ceremony of the 7th GPDRR 2022, Antaranews reported.
He is also scheduled to meet the President of Zambia, W.K. Mutale Nalumango.
Joining the President in the visit are Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of the Presidential Secretariate Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Tonny Harjono, Presidential Security Detail Commander Tri Budi Utomo, Presidential Secretariate’s press bureau deputy Bey Machmudin, and Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana.
