TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State Toll Road operator Jasa Marga reportedly planned to extend the one-way traffic policy during the Eid return flow. The decision was made based on the discretion of the police.

The one-way system would be applied from Km 442 SS Bawen of Semarang - Solo toll until Km 47 of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. This is aimed at reducing the traffic density during the Eid return flow.

Previously, Jasa Marga extended the one-way system from Km 414 of Kalikangkung toll gate at Batang-Semarang toll road. The traffic policy would be applied until Km 428 of Semarang ABC toll from 15:00 WIB.

Besides the one-way system, the toll road operator also prepared a number of steps to anticipate congestion during the Eid return trip. One of them is maximizing the transaction capacity at the Cikampek Utama toll gate heading to Jakarta.

Based on the official statement received by Tempo.co, they would operate 28 of the total 32 transaction lanes.

Jasa Marga calls on the road users to always be careful when driving, abide by the traffic signs, and follow the direction of the officers in the field.

People are also suggested to monitor the traffic condition through real-time CCTV at tolls through Travoy app. The company's One Call Center can also be accessed for 24 hours for traffic service at 14080.
