TEMPO.CO, Bali - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi spent his Eid holidays traveling to several destinations. After spending Eid al-Fitr Day in Yogyakarta, now Jokowi and his family traveling to Bali Safari & Marine Park, in Gianyar, on Thursday, May 5.
"President and the family arrived at Bali Safari & Marine Park at 12:32 local time," as stated by the Palace Press Bureau on Friday, May 6.
The bureau shared several photos of Jokowi, the First Lady Iriana, and the grandchildren entering the zoo. The state leader greeted other visitors traveling at the zoo. They took a shuttle bus for a safari tour.
During the tour, the president's family saw various animals from Indonesia, India, and Africa. Joko Widodo sat by the window holding his grandchildren in turn.
The president's grandchildren; Jan Ethes Srinarendra, Sedah Mirah Nasution, La Lembah Manah, and Panembahan Al Nahyan Nasution seemed enthusiastic about seeing the animals at Bali Safari & Marine Park. They waved at the animals from inside the bus.
They also fed the white tiger named Anjani at the zoo's Rathambore area.
After feeding the white tiger, Jokowi and his entourage left Bali Safari & Marine Park and return to Tampaksiring Presidential Palace.
