TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases continues to increase. Based on the government's data on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, as many as 107 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded.

The number increased the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 6,047,315 cases since the first patient was announced to be infected by the virus on March 2, 2020. Meanwhile, the number of recovered patients increased by 395 people, which brings the total number of successful recoveries to 5,884,059.

The number of fatalities also experienced an increase by 18, bringing the total number of deaths because of Covid-19 to 156,305.

The government also monitored 986 people suspected to be infected. In addition, there are 46,778 Coronavirus-related specimens being examined on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. The information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Mitigation Task Force. Data on Covid-19 can also be accessed through the Covid19.go.id website or kemenkes.go.id.
