TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Tjahjo Kumolo has officially issued a circular instructing Personnel Supervisor Officers (PPK) to ensure that civil servants (ASN) do not hold a breaking-the-fast or iftar gathering during Ramadan and host open houses on Eid Al-Fitr this year.
PPK is also asked to confirm that state officials always comply with the predetermined health protocols against COVID-19. “PPK in government agencies [is urged] to instruct all ASN in their agencies to always apply health protocols,” said Tjahjo Kumolo in the circular signed on April 19, 2022.
The government, however, allows civil servants to go on Eid homecoming or mudik to their hometowns and apply for leave days before or after the national long holiday and collective leave days in order to reduce and divide the traffic density during the homecoming period.
PPK is also asked to ensure that ASN has received a complete COVID-19 vaccination course, including the booster shot.
This circular is issued as a follow-up to the Circular of the PANRB Minister No. 13 of 2022 concerning leave days for state civil apparatus during the national holiday and collective leave days for Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H.
