TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lombok International Airport in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has re-opened the COVID-19 vaccination service in line with the issuance of the Transportation Ministry’s Circular No. 36 of 2022 which noted that passengers who have received the booster dose are not required to show a negative result of PCR or antigen test. The policy takes effect starting April 5, 2022.
It is also stipulated that fully-vaccinated passengers must present a negative result of PCR test taken within 3x24 hours before departure or antigen test taken within 1x24 hours before departure, while passengers who have only obtained the first dose are required to bring a negative result of PCR test taken within 3x24 hours before the flight.
“So we opened the COVID-19 vaccination service at this airport,” said the airport’s acting general manager, Nugroho Jati, on Wednesday, April 6.
Other than supporting the government’s effort to accelerate the vaccination program, the service is aimed at helping would-be air passengers to fulfill one of the travel requirements, namely a vaccination certificate.
The vaccination service in Lombok Airport serves second and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The available vaccine types include Sinovac and Moderna for the second shot and Moderna for the booster shot. The site is set up in the departure lobby and opens every day from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA).
