TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati launched a new application for state financial management dubbed SAKTI. The app is officially integrating various app systems used in managing state finances thus far.
“The initiative for change always starts with piloting and then expanding it to all over Indonesia,” said Sri during the app launching event as part of the commemoration events of the 18th Treasury Service by the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) as stated in a written statement.
Sri expressed gratitude that the various system changes conducted to date have not caused turmoil. “This is an achievement because it is not easy to change a system for the better without turmoil and disruption, especially in terms of service,” she added.
SAKTI is a follow-up to the implementation of the Integrated Financial Management Integration System (IFMIS). The app complements the modernization of financial management on the side of the State General Treasurer (BUN) through the State Treasury and Budget System (SPAN), which was officially launched by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on April 29, 2015.
The Finance Ministry reported that SAKTI is developed in stages. The implementation of its full module had been rolled out at the end of 2021 for the transactions of the 2022 State Budget.
Through SAKTI, various functions of state financial management are carried out in a single system, starting from the preparation to the accountability in the working unit levels up to the agency or ministerial levels.
