TMII Revitalization Completion Expected in October 2022

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, or TMII has been revitalized since early January and PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney as the the parent company expected it will be finished in October 2022.

"The revitalization for several main areas are expected to be completed in October 2022. Surely it will involve many parties who have the competence and understood TMII presence," said InJourney Director, Dony Oskaria in his written statement on Sunday, January 23.

Currently, TMII still welcomes visitors. However, the operational hours will be reviewed during the revitalization by PT TWC and State Secretariat Ministry because starting from March until the completion, the construction is expected to be more complicated and expanded.

TMII is revitalized to welcome G20 Summit on October, as it will be one of the side event venue. Furthermore, TMII revitalization is themed The Ultimate Showcase of Indonesia and bear Opera which represents diversity and the rich of region and culture of Indonesia in a modern and inspiring manner.

"In the future, TMII will still become an educational recreation center that exhibits diversities, education for Indonesian archipelago, cable car, traditional house pavillions and the legendary golden snail that will return as our pride," said the director.
