TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government will cover the transfer cost of Civil servants and Security Personnel, including their families to the New Capital City (IKN).

In addition to the coverage, the hand out of facilities are included in the transfer plan made by the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan).

The details of the family covered included a couple, two children and a housemaid. Additionally, civil servants will also receive a daily allowance, plane tickets, rental car and transit fees.

The government plans to transfer 7,687 civil servants from 2022 to 2024 in sequential order and will continue until 2045 after the first transfer is finished.

Furthermore, the House decided to approve the IKN bill this morning, as was previously mentioned by President Jokowi the new capital will be named "Nusantara." "I have received confirmation from the President on Friday (1/14) that the New Capital City will be named Nusantara," said Bappenas Head Suharso Monoarfa.
