Indonesia's Tax Amnesty II Collects Rp3 Trillion So Far

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Finance Ministry directorate general of taxation on Tuesday reported a Rp3 trillion redemption money payment from what were previously undisclosed assets in the Tax Amnesty II scheme. 

The number was gathered up to January 17, which is nearly a Rp1 trillion increase compared to the amount gathered until January 13, 2022, Antaranews reported. 

This value consists of a net domestic asset report and repatriation of Rp2.31 trillion, assets invested in State Securities of Rp242.4 billion, and assets abroad of Rp. 451.83 billion, as quoted from the official PPS website of the Directorate General of Taxes on Tuesday. 

4,937 taxpayers reported their tax returns with a total income tax value (PPh Final) of Rp451.83 billion. The Tax Amnesty II program will continue until June 30, 2022, where people are able to declare their wealth through the taxation general directorate’s website https://pajak.go.id/pps.
