TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko"Jokowi" Widodo visited the Mandalika International Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Thursday, January 13, 2022. The President observed the circuit's preparation ahead of the MotoGP race which will be held in the next couple of months.

Jokowi mentioned that the roads bypassing the airport to the Circuit will adopt a specific design that will allow people to have a beautiful view of Lombok. "We hope that traveling from the airport to the Mandalika circuit, guests will be transported through beautiful scenery and great aesthetics," said the President.
MotoGP Mandalika field commander Hadi Tjahjanto, said that flight schedules from a number of cities to Lombok will also be increased. "So hopefully the audience will be given the convenience of going to the Mandalika Circuit to be able to watch the 2022 MotoGP," said Hadi.
