TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - An airplane of newly-launched low-cost carrier Super Air Jet returned to Soekarno-Hatta Airport a few minutes after taking off on Sunday, December 5. The plane departed from Jakarta and was headed to Bali.
“As for issue on RTB (return to base), yes it happened,” said the airline’s Corporate Communications official, Carolina Lestari Sirait, when asked by Tempo on Monday, December 6.
She explained the airline’s flight IU 754 returned to the runway due to poor weather. “The reason is bad weather,” she said.
However, Carolina stopped short of detailing the flight issues. “We will inform you of the details later,” she said.
