Daily Covid-19 Update; Indonesia Logs 278 New Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Covid-19 task force issued the daily report on coronavirus cases as of December 1, which has seen a growth of 278 confirmed cases. The new caseload added to the total tally to 4, 256,687 cases since the virus first arrived in Indonesia early last year. 

The capital city of Jakarta continued to contribute the most number of cases with 70 cases, followed by West Java with 58 cases, East Java with 30 cases, and Central Java with 20 cases. 

There are 27 provinces that have logged less than 10 cases and 6 provinces, fortunately, reported zero case.

The additional 278 confirmed cases came from the testing of 292,143 specimens. This meant that the daily active cases have dropped by 39 cases. In total, Indonesia has logged 4,104,964 recoveries and 143,840 deaths.
