Formula E Team Arrives in Jakarta to Survey Potential Race Circuit

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Formula E Operation (FEO) team has arrived in Jakarta to survey the locations to be used as the race circuit.

Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto said that the FEO will visit all the alternative locations previously suggested by the government for the race. "They (FEO) come to visit for three days," said yesterday, November 22, 2021.

The Federation of International Automobile (FIA) will decide the locations for the race based on FEO's survey.

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria did not say much on FEO's visit. "It has not been decided yet, maybe later by the survey team," he said. 

During the survey, FEO was accompanied by Jakpro to discuss the locations for Formula-E race. They reportedly visited North Jakarta area to survey the race locations.
