AirAsia Indonesia Reopens 9 Domestic Flights With Free Extra Services

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AirAsia Indonesia president director Veranita Yosephine announced on Monday that the airline will start to reintroduce nine domestic flight routes in December this year after closing them due to the public activity restriction (PPKM) policy.
“The reopening of the domestic flights will be accompanied by our best offers is the airline’s response to our customers that have long awaited our services there,” said the president director on November 22.
The routes that are reintroduced are round trips on a weekly basis covering Jakarta - Bali (28 flights), Jakarta - Lombok (7 flights), Jakarta - Medan (14 flights), Jakarta - Padang (7 flights), Jakarta - Pontianak (7 flights), Jakarta - Pekanbaru (4 flights), Bali - Bandung (7 flights), Bali - Surabaya (4 flights), and Medan - Yogyakarta (3 flights).
AirAsia offers free baggage up to 20 kilograms, an upgrade from the previous 15 kilograms for each passenger in the aforementioned flights. They also offer travelers antigen and PCR swab tests that cost Rp35,000 for the former and Rp220,000 for the latter.
