TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Foreign and domestic tourists start to crowd Senggigi area in West Lombok ahead of the World Superbike (WSBK) race event, which is scheduled to be held on November 19-21, 2021.
“Senggigi tourist areas are ready and have started to get busy ahead of the WSBK,” said Head of the West Lombok Communication and Information Technology Agency Ahad Legiarto on Thursday, November 18.
According to Ahad, hotels have implemented standard health protocols and already obtained Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment (CHSE) certificates.
In addition, the West Lombok Tourism Agency has also prepared various events. The event dubbed 'Welcome Senggigi' features various art and cultural performances ahead of the international event.
“Starting from wayang (traditional puppet) shows, creative and photography exhibitions, to live acoustic music,” said Ahad.
Welcoming the international event, Ahad also said the access routes to Senggigi tourist areas are safe to pass. There are no landslide roads as reported some time ago.
