Filming, Drones Banned from Mandalika WSBK Race This Weekend

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The newly-built Mandalika International Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara is set to host the final round of the FIM World Superbike (WSBK) Championship this weekend on November 19-21.
The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), which manages the races in this track, published a number of restrictions that must be followed by racing fans at the track.
The rule says that fans are not permitted to bring the items as follows: umbrella, hazardous items or weapons, drone, glass container, selfie stick, flammable items or liquids, large backpacks, lasers, alcoholic beverages, banner, trumpets, and food and beverages brought from outside sources.
There are food and beverage booths nearby each and every grandstands. Fans are strictly not permitted to film anything, including live streams, either from professional cameras or handphones during the WSBK race or the Asia Talent Cup race.
The tickets are limited to visitors aged 12 years old and older. The visitors have to have received two Covid-19 vaccine shots, a swab antigen or PCR test result through the Indonesian Covid-19 tracing app PeduliLindungi.
Those without the PeduliLindungi app will be redirected to take an antigen or PCR swab test in nearby certified hospitals or clinics.
