TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned land transportation company Damri has opened a new route from El Tari Airport in Kupang to Motaain Border Post in Belu. The bus will serve the passengers from the Lolowa Atambua Terminal.
"Damri provides this service considering the lack of transportation in certain areas of Kupang," says the Chief Secretary of Damri, Sidik Pramono in his written report on Monday, November 8, 2021.
The bus is scheduled to leave from El Tari to Motaain at 08 AM Central Indonesian Time, while the one from Motaain to El Tari leaves at 9 AM.
As for the Lolowa Atambua Terminal, Damri bus will be available at 11 AM, which is the arrival time of the bus at the terminal, both from the airport and the border post.
The tariff for a single trip is IDR 125.000 with departure time according to customers' requests. "Due to the limited unit, the departure is once a day, both from and to El Tari to Motaain," said Sidik.
For ticket purchase, customers can make a reservation by Damri Apps or directly visit the departure counter at El Tari Airport. Reservations by Damri Apps can be paid through various online platforms such as Traveloka, RedBus, OVO, LinkAja, Gopay, DANA, and both Alfamart and Indomaret outlets.
However, in accordance to the Public Mobility Restriction (PPKM), Damri applies strict passenger regulation, requiring passengers to show vaccination certificates through PeduliLindungi apps, or physical certificate documents.
