Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake Shakes Karangasem in Bali

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on Friday reported an earthquake measuring at magnitude 3.5 had struck Bali’s Karangasem region at 02:32 Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
This region was last hit by an earthquake on October 16, which unfortunately killed three people.
The epicenter of the latest quake was 17 kilometers northwest of Karangasem coast, at the depth of 10 kilometers.
Meanwhile the previous deadly quake that shook the region was a magnitude 4.8. It was centered at the Batur-Agung Mountain complex.
BMKG also recorded four quakes which were definitely felt throughout the day on Thursday. One of which happened in Ambarawa, Central Java.
