French Open Enters 3rd Round; 8 Indonesian Badminton Shuttlers to Play Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - French Open 2021 which was held in Paris has entered the third round or round of 16 on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Eight Indonesian shuttlers will have matches today and the Men's Doubles sends most players. The Minions, Marcul Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo are challenged by Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel from Germany.

Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan aka the Daddies will face Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po from Chinese Taipei. As for Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto is faced with the French's Christo Popov/Toma Junior Popov.

The Women's Doubles has sent two pairs. Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Ribka Sugiarto will challenge the eight seed Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan from Malaysia. The other pair, Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah, is facing the first seed Lee Sohee/Shin Seungchan from South Korea.

Shesar Hiren Rhustavito represents the Man's Singles and will face the Indian's Sameer Verma. Gregoria Mariska Tanjung will face Singaporean Yeo Jia Min in the Women's Singles.

The Mixed Doubles pair Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti is scheduled to play against Indian's Satwiksairaj/Ashwini Ponnappa.
