TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tangerang City has allowed cinemas and public facilities such as thematic parks to reopen following the easing of the community restrictions activity (PPKM) to level 2.
The city's spokesperson Buceu Gartina said that based on the Tangerang Mayor's Circular No. 180/4355-Bag-Hkm/2021 dated October 19, 2021, movie theaters are allowed to re-operate by using the Pedulilindungi application as the screening for all visitors and employees.
The capacity, however, is limited to 70 percent and only visitors having the color code of green and yellow in the app are allowed to enter. Visitors under the age of 12 must be with parents' supervision.
Restaurants and cafes inside the cinema are also permitted to serve dine-in customers with a capacity of 50 percent and a meal time of 60 minutes. "Cinemas must also install UV-C in the air ducts and periodically spray disinfectant before and after the film screening," he said.
Meanwhile, public facilities are allowed to open with a maximum capacity of 25 percent and use the PeduliLindungi app.
Tangerang Mayor Arief R. Wismansyah said his region has now entered PPKM Level 2.
Arief appealed to the public to stay disciplined in implementing health protocols and get vaccinations to achieve herd immunity.
