Covid-19 Update; Indonesia Logs 3,948 New Cases

TEMPO.CO, JakartaIndonesia is still recording new Covid-19 infections albeit at a slower rate compared to previous months. Authorities reported that as of Tuesday noon, October 26, there were 611 new confirmed cases over the last 24 hours.

Today's log brings Indonesia's Covid-19 caseload to 4,241,090 since the first infection was announced on March 2, 2020.

Meanwhile, today's recoveries increased by 1,141, bringing the country's total recoveries to 4,084,831 people.

Unfortunately, Indonesia is still recording deaths related to Covid-19. Thirty five more people died from the new coronavirus, bring the mortality count to 143,270.

The Indonesian government is also monitoring 7,061 people who are now suspected of having been infected. Today, 259,064 Covid-related specimens were examined.
