Jakarta Logs Less than 90 New Daily Cases of Covid-19

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta continues to see improving situations amid the pandemic. On Thursday, October 21, the capital only added 89 new cases of Covid-19.
According to Jakarta's Health Office director for disease prevention and control, Dwi Oktavia, the number was obtained from the result of PCR tests on 24,725 specimens.
Dwi added that Monday also saw the number of active cases declining by 25 to 1,234 people.
To date, Jakarta has logged a total caseload of 860,550 with 845,763 recoveries and 13,553 deaths. The government recorded 98.3 percent recovery rate and 1.6 percent mortality rate.
The World Health Organization's (WHO) set the standard positibity rate at less than five percent.
