TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - City-owned developer PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) announced on Thursday that it has prepared the Grand Cempaka Business Hotel and D’Arcici Sunter Hotel as quarantine facilities to accommodate Jakarta athletes and management competing in the 20th Papua National Games (PON).

As of Thursday, there are 37 athletes and 8 management members undergoing quarantine at the Grand Cempaka Business Hotel.

“Once that one gets full then they will be accommodated at the D’Arcici Sunter,” said Jakpro public communications Tasya Lovina in a text message. “This quarantine process is mandatory for athletes and management before they return back to their homes.”

Other athletes will arrive back home gradually on October 15.

This quarantine facility is a form of appreciation from the Jakarta administration for their performance in the Papua National Games (PON).
