Azis revealed that police managed to expose the prostitution syndicate after one of the victim’s parents reported to the police that their child had not returned home since June this year. Police conducted an investigation and managed to trackdown the teen at the Kalibata City Apartment in early October.

In the October 3 raid, police found the victim along with five people acting as the teen’s panderer in one of the apartment’s rooms.

According to the teen deceived into prostitution, she was unaware that she was being sold by the suspects as the victim and panderer’s relathionship started as couples. But in September, one of the suspects offered her the job. In that month alone the victim had sexual intercourse 17 times with customers and was only given Rp50-Rp150 thousand fee for every encounter.
