TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police on early Saturday, October 9, closed three cafes in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta, for operating over the set hours during the level 3 community activity restrictions or PPKM to curb Covid-19 infections in the capital city.
"When we're conducting patrol at around 1 a.m., several entertainment venues were still operated," said the deputy chief of Jakarta Metro Traffic Police, Adj. Sr. Comm. Rusdy Pramana Siryanagara.
During the level 3 PPKM, entertainment businesses are only allowed to operate until midnight. The three cafes that violated the rules were Tipsy Monkey, 80 Proove Bar & Club, and Barcode.
