Susardi said on Thursday, October 7th.
The cooperation takes the forms of prorate agreement, joint freighter, block space agreement. Ade said the air transshipment cargo deal is a bid to take advantage of the growth momentum of the cargo business line during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Garuda also sees an opportunity to support the market expansion of national commodity exports. According to Ade, the expansion of this cooperation is an added value for the company and offers competitive prices for service users.
In the first semester of 2021, Garuda Indonesia recorded an increase in the number of cargoes by 90 percent, year-on-year.
