Only 252 COVID-19 Patients Hospitalized at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital decreased by 14 people to 252 people as of Wednesday, October 6.

“The number of hospitalized patients is 252 people from previously 266,” said the hospital's spokesman, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, in a press statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday morning.

From March 23, 2020, until october 6, 2021, the emergency hospital had treated 128,246 COVID-19 patients. Of the figure, 126,360 patients recovered, 1,038 patients were referred to other hospitals, and 596 patients succumbed to the illness.

Meanwhile, at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Emergency Hospital, the number of hospitalized patients increased by 156 to 4,968 people.

At the Rusun Pasar Rumput COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, there were 2,138 patients, dropped by 147.

From the initial opening September 21, 2021, until October 6, 2021, Rusun Pasar Rumput accommodated 3,902 COVID-19 patients. Of which, 1,673 patients completed self-isolation or tested negative, 2 patients left the site at their request, and 89 patients were referred to other COVID-19 treatment facilities.

The decrease in the number of hospitalized patients also occurred at the Galang Island Hospital by 3 to 286 patients. From April 12, 2020, to October 6, 2021, 16,797 people registered as hospitalized patients. A total of 16,468 COVID-19 patients had recovered, 42 patients were referred to other hospitals, and 1 person died.
