In his speech, the President reminded all that Indonesia is still under threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The head of state also said the fight against COVID-19 requires vigilance, speed, synergy, and the use of science and technology. In this regard, the TNI plays a major role in dealing with the pandemic in the archipelago.

“TNI always shows professionalism in every task through individual abilities, group abilities, the use of technology and science, including defense equipment,” he remarked.

Jokowi further congratulated the TNI. He expressed the highest appreciation to the ranks of the military who are the main guardians of the nation's sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, as well as protect the Indonesian nation from all disorders.
