TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno visited a cinema to monitor if the visitors apply the health protocols set in the location. He came to Epicentrum XXI movie theater in Kuningan, Jakarta, that is under level 3 Covid-19 restriction (PPKM).
The Tourism Minister monitored and tried himself the series of health measures there, starting from QR code scanning through PeduliLindungi app, applying hand sanitizer, and checking the body temperature at the entrance of the cinema.
“Today, I directly monitor the implementation of CHSE and test the PeduliLindungi app integrated at cinemas,” Sandiaga Uno said Thursday, September 23.
Movie Theaters in regions with level 3 and 2 PPKM are permitted to reoperate by implementing strict health protocols, as stipulated in the Home Affairs Ministerial Instruction number 24/2021.
The management must also apply restrictions to the visitors, namely: only those who received complete vaccine doses aged 12-60 years that may enter the area, the theater capacity must be limited to 50 percent, and not allowing visitors to eat or drink inside. “We ask for support from all parties so the cinema can maintain its compliance and discipline with health protocols,” Sandiaga remarked.
