TEMPO.CO, Yogyakarta - The management of Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko temples tour, PT Taman Wisata Candi (PT TWC), opened the tourist destinations on a trial basis by implementing health measures and using PeduliLindungi app on Saturday, September 18. President Director of PT TWC, Edy Setijono, said that officers, traders at the tourism site, and visitors must abide by the health protocols and scan the QR code through the Covid-19 control app, PeduliLindungi.
"We're limiting the visitors of Borobudur and Prambanan at only 7,500 people. That includes the officers, tourists, and traders," said Edy on Friday, September 2021. They must also be in a healthy condition with the body temperature below 37.3 degrees Celcius. Before entering the recreational area, the visitors must also scanning a QR code through PeduliLindungi app to check-in.
The following is the list of locations to scan the PeduliLindungi barcode in Borobudur area:
-Borobudur Unit Office
-Manohara Resto terrace
-Garden Unit Office
Traders in Borobudur Temple area can scan the barcode in two spots:
-Gate 3 for traders in outside area
-Gate 5 for traders in Borobudur Food and Crafts Center (SKMB) area.
Meanwhile, the PeduliLindungi barcode scan spots in Prambanan are as follow:
-Prambanan Unit Office
-Post B for visitors
-Post C for employees of East Java and Yogyakarta Cultural Heritage Preservation Center (BPCB)
-Entrance gate for traders in Prambanan Resto area
Edy explained that the QR code was spread in several spots across the Borobudur-Prambanan area to anticipate the visitors crowding one spot to scan PeduliLindungi barcode. The government permitted the trial reopening of two destinations managed by PT TWC, under the procedures stipulated in Home Affairs Ministry Instruction Number 39/2021 on the level 4, level 3, and level 2 community mobility restrictions (PPKM) in Java and Bali areas.
