Cinema Safety; Rules to Watch Movies in Jakarta Theaters during Pandemic

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A number of cinemas in Jakarta resumed businesses today, September 16. As the pandemic is not yet over, moviegoers must follow certain rules and safety guidelines inside the movie theaters. 

Quoting @cinema.21 Instagram post, here are some of the requirements for watching movies in theaters during a pandemic:

  1. Keep masks on at all time. Double-masking is better.
  2. Physical distancing
  3. Keep hands clean. Bringing your own hand sanitizer is a good idea.
  4. Have the PeduliLindungi app installed on your phone.
  5. Scan the QR code for  PeduliLindungi  before entering the cinema.
  6. No visitors under 12 years old.

In addition to said rules, make sure you are in good health before going to the cinema to watch a movie in a closed room full of people.
