TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan imposed the odd-even traffic policy along roads to and from tourist destinations that are allowed to reopen on a trial basis during the level 3 public mobility restrictions (PPKM Level 3).
The three tourist sites are Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, and Setu Babakan. They are allowed to operate on a trial basis as determined by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry
The traffic rule was noted in the Gubernatorial Decree No. 1096 of 2021 on the PPKM Level 3 implementation released in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 15.
In the decree, Anies requested the traffic policy to be imposed starting on Friday at 12 p.m. until Sunday at 6 p.m. The decree also stipulated that the management of the three tourist sites must abide by the health protocols set by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry and the Health Ministry.
The operating hours of the tourist sites were also limited until 9 p.m. and the government’s COVID-19 app Pedulilindungi is mandatory for use to check visitors' and employees’ vaccination certificates. Besides, children under the age of 12 are still barred from entering tourist destinations.
