Indonesia Covid-19 Update: 5,001 New Cases, 270 Deaths on September 11

TEMPO.CO, JakartaIndonesia Covid-19 Task Force logged 5,001 new cases today, September 11. The new confirmed cases added the the total case to 4,163,732.

Based on the task force data, 231,570 specimens were tested. Besides, the number of active cases decreased by 2,855 cases. Therefore, the number of active cases in Indonesia is 115,679.

East Java recorded the highest number with 547 cases. Followed by West Java with 446, North Sumatra 374 cases, Central Java 295, West Kalimantan 271, Jakarta 268, East Kalimantan 240, Bali 227, and Aceh with 207 cases.

Other regions logged below 200 cases. The least case occurred in Gorontalo with 8 cases, North Maluku 6 cases, and Maluku with 3 cases.

The death related to Covid-19 today was recorded at 270 cases, totaling the number to 138,701 cases.

Meanwhile, 7,568 patients have recovered. This figure added the total recovery number in Indonesia to 3,909,352.
