Densus 88 Captures 3 Terror Suspects

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Police's special counterterrorism squad, Densus 88, arrested three suspected terrorists from the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) group on Friday, September 10. The suspects were apprehended in North Bekasi, West Java and Grogol, West Jakarta.

"Two people were arrested in North Bekasi District, the other one was arrested in Grogol, West Jakarta," said the Police Heardquarters' PR Department's head of public information, Comr. Ahmad Ramadhan.

The two suspected terrorists who were arrested in North Bekasi are MEK and S. The other suspect, SH, was Another suspect, SH, was arrested in Jelambar, West Jakarta.

"SH is a member of the Jamaah Islamiyah's Shura Council," Comr. Ramadhan said.
