TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - North Jakarta's beach park area Ancol is one of the 20 tourist destinations to conduct "trial reopenings" while implementing the use of the PeduliLindung app. The managers are now preparing to carry out these trials.
PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol president director Teuku Sahir Syahali, said on Thursday that visitors would must have the PeduliLindung app as a requirement to enter the venue. The app serves as an initial screening process for the 3T policy, a.k.a. testing, tracing, and treatment.
Sahir said that only visitors age 12 and older are allowed entry, and they must have received at least the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
The manager will also carry out supervision and monitoring consistently during the operation of the Ancol recreation area. Sahir said the operator will deploy staff to act as a task force, patrolling in the venue.
"We hope that people will make the best use out of this trial run period for reopening tourism, especially those who have missed Ancol," Sahir said, Thursday.
All recreation units of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, including Dunia Fantasi, Sea World Ancol and Allianz Ecopark are equipped with CHSE certificates. All employees and officers of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol are also fully-vaccinated.
