Jokowi's Personal Data Leaked; Health Minister Secures Data in PeduliLindungi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin decided to lock the data of state officials in the government’s COVID-19 surveillance app PeduliLindungi after the personal data of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, including the ID number, from the app widely spread on social media.
“[The data] have been organized. The Data of officials are secured,” said Budi at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday, September 3.
He admitted that besides the President’s ID number, other personal data of state officials also leaked because the app system is still under development.
“We are aware of that. So we are now closing sensitive data of some officials that have been breached,” Budi remarked.
The personal data of the state head widely circulated on social media after Twitter account @huftbosan uploaded it. The screenshot photo displayed the President’s COVID-19 vaccination certificate that revealed the latter’s ID number, QR barcode for vaccine certificates, and date of birth.
The photo caption read that Jokowi had received the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as there was a third column on the page. However, the column was blank, as opposed to the other two columns that showed the vaccination certificates of the first and the second dose.
