TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II on Tuesday reminded the public about the latest air travel rules following the development of the latest Level 4,3, and 2 Covid-19 public activity restriction (PPKM) that has been imposed across regions in the islands of Java and Bali.
The government updated its PPKM rules that took effect from August 31 up to September 6.
“We call for passengers to pay attention to the requirements enacted in origin airports and destination airports to ensure that your departure and arrival at an airport would not be hampered,” said Angkasa Pura II corporate communication VP Yado Yarismano on September 1.
The latest updates are as follows as cited from Antaranews:
- Arrivals from outside of Java and Bali, or departures from Java and Bali to outside regions require passengers to show a vaccination certificate, first vaccine dose at the minimum. Passengers must also produce a negative PCR test result.
- Travelers traveling between cities or regencies within the islands of Java and Bali must at least have an antigen Covid-19 test result along with complete dose vaccine certificate. Those that had only been vaccinated once must undergo a PCR test with negative results.
He added that Angkasa Pura II airports could now completely accommodate the PeduliLindungi Covid-19 tracing app to help process the aforementioned requirements.
