TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria took part in a limited trial of the JakLingko ticket integration system today. He said he would ride four transportation modes by using just one ticket.
“So we will try all; MRT, LRT, Transjakarta buses, and also KCI trains (KRL Jabodetabek),” said Riza in HI Roundabout MRT Station, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 31.
The trial of an integrated public transport ticket system with one JakLingko app card starts from the HI Roundabout Station to Dukuh Atas Station. Riza and the entourage then walked from Dukuh Atas Station to Sudirman Station. Their journey continued to Manggarai Station.
In Manggarai, Riza exited the train station to take the Transjakarta bus at Pasaraya Manggarai bus stop heading to Pemuda Rawamangun bus stop. Getting off the bus stop, he walked to LRT Velodrome Station towards Pegangsaan 2 Station.
The Gerindra Party politician said there was no problem upon entering the HI Roundabout Station using the app. “[The app] is easy to understand, fast, and simple,” he said.
The city-run public transportation system operator PT JakLingko Indonesia had kick-started the trial of the ticket integration system on August 18, 2021.
