TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bogor Regency to start the school reopening for elementary and junior high levels next week.
Bogor Education Department head Djuanda Dimansyah said that the on-site learning would be implemented by abiding to the strict health protocols. "It would be on Monday or Tuesday," said Djuanda in Cibinong, Bogor, on Friday, August 27.
But the on-site learning in 10 Bogor areas with high covid transmission is still under discussion.
Bogor Regent Ade Yasin allowed the school reopening on August 25, after the region extended the level 3 Covid-19 restriction (PPKM) enforcementfrom August 24 to September 26. He added that it was based on the central government's regulation.
"The detailed regulations on the level 3 restrictions in Bogor Regency will be set in Bogor Regent Decree," he said.
But Ade reminded that the on-site learning will apply strict health protocols. One of them is the 50 percent capacity for elementary and junior high schools and 33 percent capacity for early childhood education schools or PAUD.
