Access to Vaccines in 2022, Bio Farma: No Discussions Yet

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Bio Farma's Corporate Secretary Bambang Heriyanto, responded to the news that the government will provide access for those who want to get their third dose vaccines (booster) and to get their own vaccines next year.

Bambang assured that Bio Farma will support the government's policy. "However, until now there has been no discussion regarding this," said Bambang to Tempo on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Bambang said that the company is still focused on accelerating the two-dose vaccination program to allow equal access to vaccines for the people.

He said that currently, the company is still trying to secure access to and the availability of vaccines in an attempt to provide enough supplies until the end of the year. He added that the company continues to try to secure vaccine supplies through various schemes, both bilateral and multilateral, grant schemes, and Covax.
