Indonesia Distributes Over 90mn Doses of Covid-19 Vaccines to 34 Provinces

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian authorities said that the government has distributed almost 91 million doses—90,988,817 to be exact—of Covid-19 vaccines to 34 provinces.
According to the Health Ministry's data, as of August 2, 75 percent of that, which is around 68.64 million doses—had been used.
"The rest are ready to be injected," the Health Ministry's Covid-19 Vaccination spokesperson, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, told Tempo on Tuesday, August 3.
The province that received the highest number of doses is East Java with 13,224,350 doses sent and 10,856,522 (82%) injected. Jakarta followed with 13,139,260 doses sent and 10,457,888 (80%) used.
At number three is West Java with 11,607,220 sent dose and 8,971,590 (77%) used; followed by Central Java with 9,113,340 sent dose and 8,037,103 (88%) used.
The province with the least number of vaccines sent is North Maluku with 221,360 doses, of which 154,546 doses (70%) have been used.
